Vitellius, 69. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 3.42 g, 7 h), uncertain mint in Spain (Tarraco?). A VITELLIVS IMP GERMAN Laureate head of Vitellius to left, small globe at point of bust; to left, palm frond. Rev. VICTORIA AVGVSTI Victory advancing left, holding round shield inscribed S P / Q R in two lines in her right hand. BMC 94, Cohen 101 and RIC 36. Lightly toned. Some scratches and the obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, very fine.
